Governor’s Recognition Scholarship
What: The Governor’s Recognition Scholarship 500-word essay contest, hosted by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation, is accepting essays and applications for a 4-Year Florida College Plan Scholarship from the Florida Prepaid College Foundation.
When: Submit essays between September 6th and October 15th, 2011.
What Do I Need to Do: Answer the essay question "Choose one former Governor of Florida and describe his most significant impact on the Sunshine State and your life today."
Who is Eligible: Stanley Tate Project STARS-eligible* seventh and eighth grade students in Baker, Broward or Sumter counties can enter to win the Florida Prepaid College Foundation Scholarship.
